Please refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/rhema.org.sg\/meet-the-team\/\">Meet the Team<\/a> for a brief introduction to our faculty of instructors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>What is the admission requirement for the Diploma program?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>The requirements are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior at least one year prior to application<\/li>\n<li>Minimum entry age of 18;<\/li>\n<li>Must be a Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident or have a valid work permit, S-Pass, Employment Pass, Dependent Pass or Student Pass<\/li>\n<li>A satisfactory character reference from his\/her pastor\/local church;<\/li>\n<li>An assessment by the school Director that the applicant is likely to successfully complete the course<\/li>\n<li>Basic written and spoken English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How many years does it take to graduate from RHEMA?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>As our Diploma program operates on a modular system, students can opt to start their course of study anytime in the year, except for the school breaks in June and December each year. The duration of the program is subject to the mode of study selected by the students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Full Time Class (Day Time): <\/strong>It will take 10 months to complete the program if the student attends classes consistently.<br \/><strong>For Part-Time Class (Wednesday evenings\/Saturday afternoons): <\/strong>An average of 10 modules will be scheduled for each calendar year. It will take the students about 4 years to complete the entire program.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of the choice on the mode of study, the students would have the flexibility to take a longer period to complete the Diploma program in the event if they miss any module(s) due to other commitments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>What is the class schedule?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>The class schedule for the respective mode of study is as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Full-Time Class (Day Time): <br \/><\/strong>Monday through Friday, 8.30am to 12.20pm<br \/><strong>For Part Time Class (Wednesday evenings\/Saturday <\/strong><strong>afternoons): <br \/><\/strong>Wednesday: 8.00pm to 9.50pm<br \/>Saturday: 2.00pm to 6.20pm or 7.20pm<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Does RHEMA offer online courses?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>No. RHEMA does not offer online courses. However, Kenneth Hagin Ministries, which is based in Tulsa, USA does offer an at-home correspondence school through which Bible study courses are completed by mail. RHEMA and RHEMA Correspondence Bible School are 2 separate schools with different purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Credits are not transferable from one to the other. For more information on RHEMA Correspondence Bible School, visit rhema.org\/rcbs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How much does it cost to attend Rhema?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>The estimated cost for the full course is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One time registration fee of S$25.<\/li>\n<li>Tuition fee is S$130 per module excluding the cost of textbooks. The total tuition fee for the full course is S$5,200 for 40 modules.<\/li>\n<li>Textbooks are charged between 40% to 50% discount for students taking the module. The estimated cost of textbooks for the full course is S$550. Students are encouraged to buy your own textbooks for the purpose of completing your reading assignment for the module.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How do I make payment for the modules?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Students are advised to pay for the tuition fee for each module in advance so they can get the study guide and syllabus before the class starts.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, students can choose to pay for more than one module in advance. Acceptable modes of payment include cash and cheque to be made payable to \u201cRHEMA Bible Training Center Singapore\u201d together with a completed payment form for each module.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Does Rhema offer financial assistance?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>RHEMA offers a bursary to students on a case by case basis, covering tuition fee and\/or cost of textbooks subject to RHEMA\u2019s discretion. This bursary is made possible through the generous giving of our partners who shared RHEMA\u2019s vision in equipping believers to live successfully and reach their world for Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>What is the enrollment procedure and documents required for foreign students?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Foreign students will require a valid pass to commence their studies with Rhema. A foreigner who holds a valid work permit, S-Pass, Employment and\/or Dependent Pass may proceed with enrolment by completing and submitting the payment form together with the registration and tuition fee.<\/p>\n<p>A foreigner who does not hold a valid work permit, S-Pass, Employment and\/or Dependent Pass will be required to apply for a Student Pass prior to their arrival in Singapore. Please refer to <a href=\"https:\/\/rhema.org.sg\/apply\/\">Apply Now<\/a> for details pertaining to the enrolment procedure and documents required for the application of Student Pass.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Does Rhema have a dormitory for foreign students?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>RHEMA does not have a dormitory for foreign students. Most of our foreign students obtain housing through a wide range of housing options, ranging from landed properties to private and public housing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Is there any translation provided for students whose first language is not English?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>There is no translation of lessons to other languages. A foreign language\/English dictionary may be used during classes\/examinations by those whose first language is not English. In addition, students may consider the purchase of class recording and go through the lessons at their own convenience after completion of the module.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Can I take leave during the course?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Students will be required to seek prior approval from the RHEMA office via email for absence from classes. In the case of an emergency, students are required to inform the RHEMA office via phone call, followed by an email notification upon return to school. In the event, if the student is absent from class for more than 6 hours, the student would not be eligible for examination. The student will be required to sit in for the module again and to take the examination, still subject to fulfillment of the attendance requirement for examination.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Do I have to take examination for the modules?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Students will be required to take a written examination for each module. The types of examination questions include multiple choice and true\/false questions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>What is the minimum criteria to sit for the examinations?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Students will be required to complete the module and not miss classes for more than 6 hours for the module.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>How would I be graded for each module?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Grades are based on the written examination and; reading and\/or written assignment scores earned by the students. It is required that a student take the examination and complete any required assignments for a module before credit is given.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>What if I miss my examination?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>It is the student\u2019s responsibility to take the examination during the allotted time given. Assuming if you have met the attendance requirement for examination and if you have missed the examination due to an emergency, you will be required to notify RHEMA office of your reasons for absence via email and to take the examination within 2 weeks from the last day of the module.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Do I have to make payment for refresher class?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>You will not be required to make payment for refresher class as long as you have completed the module successfully or if it is a re-sit to complete the examination for a particular module.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>What qualification will I earn from completing all 40 modules offered by Rhema?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Students who complete all 40 modules will graduate with a Diploma in Christian Education. The graduation ceremony is held in end of May\/early June each year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Does RHEMA offer any practical training as part of the Diploma curriculum?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>No. RHEMA\u2019s program is focused on training the students to study the Bible more in-depth. For those who do feel called to the ministry, RHEMA offers a 3 months\u2019 School of Ministry program for RHEMA Diploma graduate that provides specialized, practical training on preaching and teaching the Word of God.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Would I be qualified to work for a church or Christian organization or ministry with the Diploma?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We believe your training in RHEMA would help prepare you to serve in the church, society, and world, subject to the recruitment criteria of a church or Christian organization or ministry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Is RHEMA accredited?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>No. RHEMA has chosen not to seek accreditation by an accrediting agency. Instead, RHEMA\u2019s program is subject to the rigors of review from RHEMA USA to ensure the quality and integrity of courses offered by RHEMA.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Can course credits earned at other accredited edu cational institutions be accepted as partial fulfillment of Rhema\u2019s Diploma program requirement?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Only course credits earned at other RHEMA Bible schools within the global RHEMA family may be accepted as partial fulfillment of RHEMA\u2019s Diploma program, subject to the school Director\u2019s review and approval.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Can I visit the school before signing up for the courses?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Yes. First-timers may attend the 1-day trial class for free, either in the day time part-time (DTPT) or part-time (Wednesday evenings\/Saturday afternoons) program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Does RHEMA have a dress code?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>RHEMA seeks to provide an atmosphere conducive to reverent study and to the development of strong Christian character. It is our desire that all of our students be dressed modestly and in good taste. Students will be provided with a guideline concerning dress code upon commencement of their studies with RHEMA.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>What denomination is RHEMA?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>We are \u201cnon-denominational\u201d. RHEMA offers licensing and ordination to qualified RHEMA graduates in full-time ministry.
